It can cause hopelessness, worthlessness, indecision, and if severe, it can cause suicidal thoughts and ideas, shared the psychiatrist, adding that depression can also cause some noticeable physical symptoms such as headaches, gastrointestinal symptoms, body aches, excessive fatigue or low energy, decrease or increase in sleep, decrease or increase in appetite, and various other symptoms as well.
